Overview – Hunza Valley Spring Tour
Hunza Valley has been bestowed with many natural beauties, from lush green meadows to snowy capped mountains the valley has it all. Hunza Valley Spring Tour refer to the time from the month of March till the month of April, when the weather is comparatively getting warmer, snow on the mountains melting at a higher speed and the tree seeds are blossoming flowers.

In the Hunza Valley Spring Tour one can enjoy the scenery of the valley gets filled with while flowers of apricot tree’s. The valley in this season does not get tourist crowds, you will only see some photographers in the mountains and in Karimabad Baazar. In this season, one can hear the flowing sound of Hunza River, far away on a mountain and sometimes even in Karimabad Baazar

The route for Hunza Valley Spring Tour is different from the route in Summers, If you are travelling by road, you will have to travel through Batgram, Besham and Kohistan on the Karakoram Highway. The short route, which is via Naran Kaghan and Babusar Top will be closed due to heavy snowfall on Babusar Top. And, if you are thinking of taking a flight, you can take flight from Islamabad. The flights are operated subject to weather and there’s always a chance of flight cancellation.

If you are a foodie and on hunza valley spring tour, you can get apricot soup which is made from dried apricots, the soup is locally known as “baterin daudo”. Baterin means dried apricots and Daudo means soup in Burushaski language. You can also get “Chamus” , dried apricot juice. It is rich in minerals and vitamins and can be effective relieving stomach problems. Other local dishes one can enjoy are Hoi Lo Garma (local spinach pasta), Chap Shuro (meat bun), Molida (dried milk mixed with green veggies and apricot oil) and even yak meat pizza.

01IslamabadA member/guide of the Autumn Blossom Tours Pakistan will welcome you at the airport and accompany you to the hotel. Participants can relax at our partner hotel. A welcome dinner will be served in the evening with other international participants joining the group.
02Islamabad - ChilasOn this day the participants will start their journey towards Chilas. They will pass through towns of Haripur, Abbottabad and Mansehra. If Babusar Pass is open for tourist, the participants will continue their journey towards the mesmerizing landscape of Naran but in case if the Babusar Pass is not accessible the participants will continue their journey towards Chilas from Mansehra.

The landscape of Besham is distinct in its nature. Civilization can be seen on the mountains top. Night will be spent Chilas.
03HunzaOn this day the participants will continue their journey towards the Land of Legends (Hunza). The participants will continue from Besham, they will pass through the villages of Sazin, Dassu and Kumaila to reach Chillas and continue the journey towards Hunza.

A quick stop will be taken at Nanga Parbat View Point at Jaglot and tea stop at Rakaposhi View Point in Ghulmet, Nagar. The participants will stay in Hunza on this night.
04HunzaOn this day the participants will see themselves in the cradle of high rising snowcapped mountains. The participants will visit Baltit Fort which is 700 years old and stands tall on the face of earth, telling the story of early settlement and Kingdom of Hunza. After a presentation in Baltit Fort, the participants will visit Altit Fort which is 900 year old and one of the oldest forts in the region.

The guests will visit Altit Fort and then will have a short stay at Royal Gardens to calm their souls in the serenity of the beautiful valley. Our guide will take the participants to ancient town center and give a detour of Altit Village. Participants will drive to Duiker Village which is the highest point of Hunza-Nagar Valleys. The participants will experience the amazing sunset from the highest point where they will have a bird eye view of the valley and witness the colors of spring/blossom. The golden lights on the high snow-capped mountains will be no lesser than any marvel in this whole wide world.
05PassuOn this day the participants will visit Khunjerab Pass (subject to weather conditions) which is also the border between Pakistan and China. It’s the world’s highest paved road border. The guest will pass through the 1000 year old ancient Ganish Village which also the earliest civilization of the region and then the Haldeikish Rock Carving. The ancient scriptures imprinted by the travellers of ancient Silk Route. We will stop at Attabad Lake where the travellers can experience boating on one of finest fresh water lakes. The participants will pass through the newly build Pak-China Friendship Tunnels.

The engineering of these tunnels is not less than any wonder. The participants will pass through the villages of Gulmit, Hussaini and Passu. They will have views of Passu Cathedral/Cones, Passu Peak and Shisper Peak. Passu and Batura Glacier will also be viewed from the road. The participants will enter Khunjerab National Park in Deh.

The national park is habitat to many wild life but marmots will be seen the most throughout. The participants will meet tourist and Chinese Soldiers from the other side of the border. Participants can explore, take photographs at the border. On the way back a stop will be taken on Sost. Participants can do some shoping. The participants will spend their night in Passu village.
06Naltar valleyOn this day the participants will start their journey towards the valley of Naltar. Naltar has Pakistan’s longest and famous ski slope. The participants will transfer to jeeps from Nomal Village. It’s an off road drive which is a bit adventurous.

Upon arrival at Naltar the participants will be taken to famous Naltar Lakes where they will get stunned by the beautiful Lakes. They will have free time to explore Naltar. In the evening the participants will continue journey towards Nomal Village and then to Gilgit City for the night stay.
07BeshamOn this day the participants will travel back towards Islamabad. Upon covering half distance, our guests will take a break for the night in Besham.
08IslamabadOn this day the participants will arrive in Islamabad. All the domestic group members will be dropped at hotels.
09 On this day twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad will be explored, both of which are distinct. Islamabad is a modern capital city, great for sightseeing while Rawalpindi is a historic city built in British era with intricate bazaars, bustling streets and will be drop at International Airport.
 

Single Supplement

Separate accommodation (single supplement) will cost an additional USD 550. This includes all nights. This payment should be made with the balance upon arrival in Pakistan.
